“I have so many happy memories from May - your wonderful hospitality and apartment really made my trip and I long to come back. I will, of course, send any friends your direction when they go to your neck of the woods.”

Annie Davidson (High Wycombe, UK)
“I love this room!”

Chris Bamber (Manchester, UK)
“I greatly enjoyed my time there, not least because of the way staying with you put me in touch with the tango 'inside track', which must be much harder on a more 'mainstream' visit.  And your flat is a lovely cool oasis yet so central and so close to one of BA's nicest restaurants.  I can and shall certainly recommend it.”

Vikky Branaghan (New Zealand)
“I'm freshly showered, wrapped up in a cozy bathrobe, sipping a delicious Argentinean fruit tea (apple, hibiscus, rosehip & blackcurrant) in my bedroom in Congreso. Maggie has gone back to a milonga after letting me in, so I have her apartment to myself to settle in for the night. It is just up the road from the Congress building on a 4th floor. Timber floors, tiled passage and high ceilings. The tango station is playing beautiful music in the lounge and I can hear the sounds of the city outside.

My bedroom has a table and chairs downstairs where I am sitting now and a mezzanine built above for the bed. I have a tall (2 metres plus) timber latticed window which is open to the cool night air. There is a red hibiscus plant flowering in a planter box right outside. When I stand by the window, I can smell the flowers as I look across at the silhouettes of the building facades across the road. And, during the drive in from the airport there was a clear night sky with the same full moon that I saw at home just before leaving NZ. It really is quite magic.
I even have Internet access right here in my room.”

Jorge Gamba (Chile)
“It’s so quiet!  Thank you very much!”

David Thomas (Windsor)
“A belated note to say thank you for my enjoyable stay - as your honoured first ever B&B guest!   I really enjoyed sitting down and having breakfast with you - despite missing the first one and being an hour early for the last one...
Please do send my thanks to Robert y Valeria and their team - I have returned a noticeably better dancer thanks to them.”

Chris Hirst (Yorkshire, England)
“I had the pleasure of staying at Maggie's Bed and Breakfast while passing through Buenos Aires on the way to see the penguins and whales in Patagonia, and the Andes in Bariloche. I can highly recommend it as a charming, Parisian style, homely apartment with the city centre right on your doorstep, and places such as San Telmo and Recoleta a short taxi ride away. It is set in one of the high old Victorian town houses and I felt perfectly safe in the neighbourhood. Maggie is very hospitable and helpful with lots of info about the city. Her being English is perfect for me as I don't speak any Spanish. I enjoyed her tango class as well, and the wooden lounge floor is perfect for a little practice before you head out.”

“I stayed at Maggie's B&B for 2 weeks in August 2008. It was exactly what I wanted: close to the centre, the subte, cafes, restaurants, etc. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and warm. I was also pleased with the cleanliness. Maggie is a very good hostess. I would strongly recommend her place.”

“During my recent trip to Argentina, I stayed at Maggie's B & B my first four nights. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, elegant, and, at the same time, homey. Staying in a flat with just a couple of other guests made for a very different travel experience for me. Located right in the center of Buenos Aires, I felt more like a local than a tourist each time I would return 'home' to the flat after a day of sightseeing. Also, though I didn't do any cooking, having access to a kitchen was very nice and would have been invaluable had I stayed in BA for an extended time. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.”

“We stayed with Maggie for 6 nights in July/August. The apartment is located in a quiet area close to the city centre and within easy walking distance to most tourist sites. It's also close to many restaurants and cafe/bars. We walked around late at night without any problems, and never felt uncomfortable once. It's winter, and Maggie and her rooms are warm and welcoming, and you will sleep well as it is very quiet! We thoroughly recommend Maggie's, and have already rebooked!”

“I've just returned for a terrific 2 week stay in Buenos Aries. The trip was made all the more wonderful as all my Spanish lessons, tango classes and dances were organised by Maggie who also does B and B. The flat is wonderfully placed in central BA and offers a choice of two rooms. My stay there was very relaxing and it felt a real home from home. Maggie also does a great breakfast every morning. If you are very keen and want to practice your tango, the main room has the most beautiful polished wood floor and a large mirror to check out all those leg movements! I would thoroughly recommend staying in this small friendly B and B and gain from Maggies extensive knowledge of buenos Aries.”

“It was lovely to stay in your room - such a beautiful calm place to be.”

“We've had the most wonderful time here in your apartment! It was just perfect. We hope to come back next year. We'll write to see if we could stay again.”

Trudy & Doug (Canuck, Canada)
“The trip of a lifetime - augmented by good friends, fantastic scenery and a B&B to remember. Our time with Maggie was very special... we loved it so much we returned before heading home to Canada. We met some fantastic people through her and feel we have made friends forever with Maggie... and would most definitely recommend her B&B to anyone planning a trip to Buenos Aires, for any reason.”

“We were happy to stay at Maggie’s bed and breakfast and she organised our travel arrangments brilliantly. Her home is centrally placed for all the attractions in the city. It is also clean and tidy. Maggie is often busy, so you will have time to yourselves sometimes, but hey, jump on a bus or a train to somewhere (we went to Tigre) and enjoy this wonderful city and its people.”

“Mein schönster Urlaub. Nach durchtanzter Nacht, müde und mit platten Füssen, hatte ich das Gefühl nach 'Hause' zu kommen. Wunderschöne Räume, gemütliches Frühstück, ausgiebige Tangoberatung (Schuhe und Milongas)... und Maggie ist einfach super. Jederzeit würde ich wieder kommen, am liebsten wäre ich geblieben.”

“Hospitality at its best. Buenos Aires is a unique city of great, inviting charm. Maggie's place is an excellent introduction to the wonderful amalgam that the city is. Her place is safe, reliable and the owner is one of the kindest people one can encounter: all in the beautiful buenos aires dwelling that is her apartment/hotel. 5 of 5 stars.”

“Oasis in Buenos Aires. Be ready for a warm welcome when you arrive at Maggie's B&B in Buenos Aires. We usually travel from the US and find ourselves staggering through customs after mind boggling hours of travel. Even before we arrive at Maggie's she is taking care of us. She arranges for Luis to meet us at the airport and take us into town right to the door. It is such a sigh of relief to arrive knowing that we will find our clean, quiet, comfortable room ready for us. Once we have settled in and begin exploring the city we know that Maggie will keep everything running smoothly for us at home. Why stay in a cramped noisy hotel or hostel when for much less you can have a home in Buenos Aires?
ps... you will find the best consistent wifi connection at Maggie's.”

“Ideal BnB in Buenos Aires. During our trip around the world we stayed at Maggies' B&B for 5 nights this being a recommendation from the daughter of a friend. We, a couple in our mid 60's found the apartment to be located in a quiet area within easy walking distance or short taxi ride away from most tourist sites. We were also close to restaurants & cafe/bars & easily found an excellant restaurant which we frequented sevrel times. Maggie was a very good hostess & provided clean comfortable accomodation with a great breakfast each morning.”

Fabulous! Maggies Bed & Breakfast was fabulous: spotlessly clean, super continental breakfast (fresh baked goods, fresh OJ, wonderful fresh fruits, coffee, tea)... but best of all... Maggie! Her advice on where to eat with the locals, where to change money, how to get to the metro, and especially the tango lessons & city tour she arranged for us made our stay want us to return, and now we know where we'll be staying. Thanks Maggie.

Comfortable, relaxing and charming accomodation with a friendly atmosphere in a central location. Good value accomodation situated in a culturally historic area with easy access to the city centre. Highly recommended.

Great location, excellent hostess. We've stayed at Maggie's B&B for 3 nights in the smaller room (not recomended to taller people, if that is your case, choose the larger one). It was very nice and has a great location - within walking distance of many tourist sites. Breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day (very good whole grain toasts!). Maggie was an excellent hostess and helped us with all kind of things: organizing our transfer, giving useful tips and helping us meeting our friend from the city. We felt at home and it was much better than stay at a regular hotel.

We stayed there 2 weeks and the accomodation is fine! Maggie's B&B is relaxing, quiet rooms and in a very good position. Reccomended.
